Okay So I have been blogging three days straight. With regard to my at home laser purchase to keep the thread and link going, in order to best understand today’s topic best. So started my purchase with Smooth Skin Bare+, then I was tempted to buy the Philips Lumea Prestige and ended up making a much cost effective purchase of the Sensica Sensilight Pro. Although both the devices were worthy considering my hairy self. They were not as effective on my face and I needed a much potent device to target my bearded female self.

Amazon having its wide variety on display for sale. Tria Beauty 4x was priced at Rs. 59,000/-, that too the renewed version. So I am all skeptical with renewed and refurbished items that are on display for sale. However, I have heard the look and feel is as good as new with a limited warranty period. This time around I decide to make the expense cause I hear it is totally worth it. As the Tria Beauty 4x has diode technology which is the same as a clinical laser. So I hope on to the Currentbody site and add it to my cart and proceed with my purchase. So the delivery like mentioned in my previous post is via UPS, delivered in two weeks time and the amount payable is Rs. 57,000/- inclusive of import taxes.

The Outer Sleeve of the box of the Device

The unboxing experience is great. It has an outer sleeve with the actual box that stores the device. The device is slightly heavy compared to he previous two devices. And it has a power on and off button, which upon continuous press turns on and vice versa to turn off. Towards the bottom on the base of the device is the sensor to unlock the devices. So once the device is powered on it is not exactly ready to use. To unlock the device we place the sensor on the skin and it gives a beeping sound which means you are ready to flash. The front beak of the device, yes I say ‘beak’, because it is protruding like a pouty beak which flashes the laser light. The flash is released once in contact with the skin. As the device is unlocked you select the intensity of level you want to work with. The device has five intensity levels. From battery charge to the 5 bars of level intensity is visible on the top display above the power button. On clicking the power button, on every press the level increases. I love mine on full blast, that is on a level five.

In the box you get a Charger in its box case, with interchangeable power socket, user manual & Tria 4x Laser Device

How was my experience using the Device? Unlike the Smooth Skin Bare+ and the Sensica Sensilight Pro which emanates heat through the flashed light, this laser feels like a prick from a needle penetrating in your skin. Depending upon your pain tolerance the experience with the device should be different. On level one to a level three it felt like nothing. On level four and five it is unbearable. Specially when using on the face skin, which is super sensitive. I stopped using it on the first day of use and blurted out a few curse words… oops! But deep down I knew this was the right device for my bearded self. I somehow wanted it to work. I went on google did a little more research and watched a couple of reviews on YouTube. And behold I found a solution. I visited the closest pharmacy for a numbing cream. Came home with this Prilox numbing cream. So how does a numbing cream work? First time using it read the manual in the box of the cream and it said use thirty minutes prior any operation or treatment. And thankfully this worked. Applied the cream as the instruction stated and proceeded with the laser. Worked as a charm. Although the skin experienced slight redness which reduced overtime. You could rub ice or use a cooling moisturizer.

How to use the device on the sleeve flap open of the Box and on the side the skin that is best suited to use the Device

How to use the device? Apply the numbing cream thirty minutes prior and then use the device on a clean shaved area. Like the previous two devices, the laser targets the melanin or the dark hairs. And the device is to be used once a week. This is to disrupt the hair growth cycle. With first time use I experienced 40% hair reduced, would have been comparatively slower unlike the other two devices mentioned in my last two posts. And overtime, like in four or five weeks time. The hair reduced at 95%. Was really impressed with the results.

Pros

Works like a clinical laser, having diode laser technology

Easy to use.

Faster results than an IPL Device.

Cons.

The flash window or the beak is too small and can be time consuming.

I found the device great for my face. I would rate it 9/10 for its potency. Minus one for being time consuming. Otherwise the device is worth it. For having a clinic or salon like experience at home.
